Popped into this pub a couple of times during our stay in Keswick. Have to say that out of all the pubs we visited in town, this had the best vibe. Nice mix of clientele and plenty of choice re draught beers and gins. The guy on the bar was very friendly and had a great wee sense of humour. We visited on a pub quiz night which was extensive and varied and then again on a quieter night. Pizza is delicious and plenty of choice. Visited this bar a few years back when it was under different owners and I have to say the current owners have done a great job of creating a cool pub with a nice chilled out vibe. Highly recommend.
A brilliant evening thank you. Great food. The pizza was amazing and the houmous and salad dish was delicious. The staff are friendly clearly enjoying providing a high quality service. We will definitely be returning and would recommend without any hesitation The Pocket Cafe Bar. Thank you again.
We found this little treasure whilst taking a day trip to keswick today. Lovely surroundings and a great vibe, the food options all sounded good and we opted for two of the pizzas. Wow, we was not disappointed, really tasty pizzas with a lovely thin crust washed down with some very nice independent ales. Staff were very friendly, we will be back and highly recommend a visit when your next looking for some tasty food in Keswick.
The staff here should be very proud. The individuals were friendly and attentive. Our large order was handled with an excellent level of deftness and humility. The team made this visit a joy. The pizza itself was very well made, to the point where I forgot to take a photograph until after starting a slice. I requested an additional item, and this was accounted for. Additionally, the beer sold here included very local options, which were delicious and lovely to see. Dog friendly.
We had an evening pizza here. The food was lovely, great pizzas. I think everything is made to order so the service was quite slow, but the atmosphere is great, and good prices.. Plenty of different beers and ciders .I love how all the pubs are very dog friendly!! Would definitely recommend and will visit again...
